g: I understand people who don't believe us. People who do freak

me out. What convinced you something was happening to people

like us way back when. GA

Budd: So many things. The obvious honesty of the people I was

dealing with, their sanity the fact that so many people were

reporting the same kind of experiences and not reprorting certain

things. It's the precise patterns that let me know I wasn't

dealing with fantasy.

g: Welcome. You didn't get an intro! Thank you very much for

coming! GA

Budd: Glad to be with all of you. I very much respect what John

is doing, so any way I could hlep was fine with me. And I wanted

to meet all of you. GA

g: There must be lots of data after talking to and helping people

for so many years, that you believe or have a gut feeling about

but can't prove. Is there a story that should be told that the

UFO community is not telling? GA

Budd: There are many details I don't reveal because I need to

keep some material as a way of checking veracity. But I'm not

hiding any big, mysterious, ominous material that would frighten

anyone. I truly don't know how all of this will turn out. ga

Diane: Hi Budd ! I've heard something along the lines of... "the

watchers are watching the watcher wacthers"... do you ever feel

they are bothering you in any way? GA

Budd: Hi, Diane. I've had many reasons to feel that the UFO

occupants are aware of what we researchers are doing, but I've

never felt any resistance or opposition. Either from the aliens

or the gov't Thank God! ga

Diane: I was just curious about that since others.. like Derrel

Sims have had real problems. GA

Budd: Well, it's never happened to me or to David Jacobs, so far

as I know, or to Ray Fowler, Carpenter, Yvonne Smith, Mack. I

don't know enough about Sims situation to comment.GA

rose: Hi Budd... I remember asking you about rings "watermarks"

at a conference that you were at last year... why haven't we

seen photos or read anything about them?

Budd: Could you remind me? Rings? ga

rose: ! did my questions get thru? They are rings that appear

near scoop marks...ga

Budd: I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Sometimes there are

bruises or marks near cuts, incisions or scoop marks, but these

usually fade after a while. We should talk about this perhaps

some other time, because it's hard to discuss without drawings

or photos.GA

rose: No, thank you Budd. ga

NYMush: thanks for joining us tonight Budd....I'm interested in

learning more about the "soul mate" type... of relationships many

of us are experiencing with other abductees some call it the

"alien love bite"...can you tell us a little bit about what you've found in

your research? GA

Budd: Hi, NYM! The situation I wrote about in "Witnessed" has

to do with couples brought together in childhood by the aliens

apparently to observe how humans form relationships, how romantic

affairs begin, how people bond, and so on - all studied...(connection

dropped momentarily)

INTERMISSION

Budd: Can we pick up where we left off? Where were we, Mush?ga

NYMush: do you think it is part of their plan.. that we meet up

now..sometimes online..sometimes in person?..it sure can cause

alot of heartbreak.. GA

Budd: I'm not sure about that. They seem to need to

watch how we relate at the outset, but whether or not we meet in

the real world - that I'm not sure they plan.GA

Klaen: Have you ever tried giving hypnotic suggestions to

abductees so that they can do things such as resist future

abductions or get physical evidence ? Also do you think hypnotic

suggestions might be valuable in any way? Thanks GA

Budd: Yes, I have. So has David Jacobs. Sometimes they seem to

help, particularly in getting information. I'll try anything

that may work. But getting people to resist through using

hypnotic suggestion is well worth trying. It hasn't worked so far

in gathering evidence, but some people have seemed to be more

conscious as a result of the suggestions. I'll only have time for

two more questions, Sherry.ga

Klaen: Thats all. Thank you Budd ,for the very interesting

Lehmberg: Thank you... It's good to hear from you, sir -- there

seems to be an intensification or an increase in anomalous

happenings world wide of late. Do you have a sense that lay

humanity is being warmed up for some kind of momentous

occurrence, or situation, soon? What are your feelings on some

kind of breakthrough into this enigma? That's all -- thanx ga

Budd: That's the really big question. I definitely feel that

things are speeding up though we don't know to what end. All

along I've felt that we tend to underestimate the role that their

problems, their timetable, their personal urgency might play in

the unfolding scenario. It's not our millenium change, then, so

much as some change of theirs that's the real unknown. I'm not a

prognosticator, but I think the momentum means big changes are

coming soon - whatever they turn out to be. I'm not feeling

greatly optimistic, to tell you the truth.

Lehmberg: Secondly sir, does what happened to John Ford concern

you? GA

Budd: As a human being, yes, but I'm not at all convinced that

John is the victim of some plot against him. I feel sorry for

the people involved - John Ford, the individuals he seems to have

targeted and what this has done to the credibility of UFO

investigators. Since I don't know anyone who has been targeted

and hurt by the coverup forces - that is, any prominent

investigators - I can't believe John's problems are due to a

government plot. I may, of course, be wrong. GA

Lehmberg: That all sir, thank you. GA

taz: Hello Mr. Hopkins - Are more poeople being

abducted/contacted... now or are they just reporting it more?GA

Budd: Good question. I believe that both observations are true,

more are reporting, BUT more are being abducted. I see what

seems to be a disturbing momentum to the whole business.GA

taz: Thank-you for joining usGA

Linda: I loved Witnessed. Any new developments ?GA

Budd: Thanks, Linda. Yes. One thing is the fact that the third

man answered a letter from NOVA before my book came out, saying

he had not been present. He had told me by letter that if asked,

he would deny any involvement. Crucial to his denial is the fact

that the NOVA letter is written in the same tortured style he

used in his letter to me, and contains the same Britishisms and

uses the same style of indentation, address, and so on. Thus his

denial buttresses the case that he wrote both letters. This

sounds complicated, I know, and I'm sorry, but if you could see

his letter to me and his denial letter, you would see that the

same man wrote both.GA

scientist: Hi Budd I have always wanted to get to meet you! *s* I

have had expierences where.. where as a child , with brightlights

coming in the bedroom window, it going from night to morning in

one min. nosebleeds, scoopp mark.. injection marks, bruses, as I

got older, expierences of a disturbing violent sexual nature,

also one expierence seperately of... being taken to an

underground military base, aliens and humans present, and being

made to wear a brown/tan/beige uniform, and made to assist in a

technical way with something.. my question was, have you ever

heard of the brown/tan/beige uniform? I'm sorry.GA

Budd: Not specifically, I wrote in Witnessed about alien

cooption of abductees, who find themselves sometimes in

skin-tight blue uniforms. Why don't you write me about your

recollections at IF, box 30233, NyNY, 10011? Then we can talk more.
